HYBRID ENDURANCE® coaching consists of a premium online coaching service by Tom Higgins. 

Tom is qualified triathlon coach and qualified personal trainer, he specialises in getting people in the best functional shape of their lives and to the start line of events in the best shape possible. To date he has coached athletes to multiple Ironman triathlon finishes including multiple KONA Ironman age group world championship qualifications, half Ironman triathlons (middle distance/70.3's), marathons, half marathons, 10k running events, olympic distance triathlons and even army officer tests!.

Those he coach get both functionally fit and specifically fit for their chosen events through the Hybrid Endurance® training system.

Tom specialises in creating all round training programmes that incorporate detailed workouts that build on each other week by week, whilst closely monitoring how the athlete is doing so as to avoid injury or burnout. In depth sessions including strength and conditioning, swim, bike and run are provided on a market leading coaching app which syncs to smart watches and devices for full accountability.

Tom's coaching is for both experienced athletes wanting to get to the next level or those just starting out on their journey and looking to get into triathlons and endurance events.

    More information on the training app used and how your coaching is provided:

    Your training and coaching will be on one of the market leading training platforms, training peaks, which syncs to all smart watches and so smart zone based training can be used. Knowledge is key and understanding why you are doing certain sessions always helps.  Tom (your coach) will continuously help you to understand how everything works, what training you are doing and essentially why you are doing it. 

    Due to the smart training app, all session can be viewed and analysed by your coach. This provides full accountability. Tom will comment and provide regular feedback on each training session as continual feedback and communication between an athlete and your coach is key.

    Furthermore, strength, conditioning and injury prevention work will always be factored into each programme with in depth Hybrid Endurance video tutorial links engrained into your training peaks programme. The amount and extent of this will vary from athlete to athlete due to the custom nature of this programme and your specific goal.
