Your hotel location
This triathlon training camp is based on the east of Lanzarote in Costa Teguise. You will stay in comfort at our partner hotel which is well known for it triathlon training facilities and location. It has a 25 meter outdoor training pool, private gym and quite beach with options for open water swimming. Surrounding the hotel is miles of beautiful trail running routes and some incredible road cycling roads and routes for all abilities.

Your coach and lead guide will tailor this camp to your exact level and there will be lots of personalised 1-1 coaching throughout whilst at the same time you will be enjoying training and seeing the impress landscape and surroundings of Lanzarote!
Who is the camp for?
This camp is for all abilities. From those looking to build some serious fitness over the winter months in a warmer climate to those looking to just enjoy triathlon training in a safe and incredible environment whilst meeting and making like minded friends. We will ensure that each session is suitably adapted to your level and you will always be with a group and guide on the rides and runs, no one will be left behind. On the other side those wanting to really push themselves and get the most training effect from the camp will have the means and support to do so.
The Hybrid Endurance swim hat at the hotels 25m training pool. Expect structured swimming sessions delivered to meet your level.
What training to expect?
Swimming
-Coached outdoor training pool swimming with in depth technique analysis.
-Optional guided open water swimming for all abilities.
Cycling
-Group guided and coached rides. We plan two routes for most rides, the full route and an optional turn off point/ shorter route making an easier route. As well our head coach leading the rides, if required extra experienced bike guides will be on hand so one gets left behind. You will experience cycling some of the most beautiful and safe roads in Europe through amazing scenery. Routes will include lava fields, up volcanic carved mountains and epic coastal routes.
Running
-Trail running through volcanic desert landscapes and beautiful coastal routes with options for all abilities. There is also an indoor private gym with a treadmill if anyone struggles with running outdoors.
Strength and conditioning
-In depth strength and conditioning workshop, learning the most important aspects of staying injury free and building functional strength ready for your goals. This workshop will be low stress and more educational based. There will also be regular recovery routines throughout the camp including foam rollering, regular stretching and optional sports massages.
Relaxation and downtime
-Enjoy your resorts spa facilities, outdoor recreation swimming pools, lagoon and more.

Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival day, meet and greet for those who arrive in the day.
DAY 2
Meet and greet for late night arrivals and official camp meeting.
Swim: A relaxed intro pool swim, distance and time ability dependant, technique analysis focus.
Bike: A steady climbing route up to one of the highest points on the island before looping back with coastal views.
Full route 53km, 850 m climbing
Easier route 38km 500m climbing
Optional brick run: 10-25mins brick trail run loop outside hotel
DAY 3
Swim: optional guided open water swim along a coastal route or pool swim, distance and time ability dependant.
Bike: A beautiful coastal ride surrounded by lava fields.
Full ride - 58km. 480m climbing
Shorter route - Turn around along the coast earlier, distance ability dependant.
Optional brick run - optional coastal brick run 10-25mins.
DAY 4
Swim: optional easy pool swim.
Bike: Longer ride with plenty of climbing, over to the other side of the Island on the west coast before heading back.
Full route- 78km, 1000m climbing
Easier route - 52km, 600m climbing
DAY 5
Recovery day/ easier day.
Foam rolling workshop first thing.
optional easy spin and optional easy pool swim.
DAY 6
Strength and conditioning: workshop covering essential upper body, lower body and core exercises, looking at the correct technique and looking at injury prevention work.
Run: Longer trail run through epic Lanzarote deserts.
Longer run roughly 13km, can be extended or reduced.
Shorter run 5-10km can be extended or reduced ability dependant.
DAY 7
Swim: Steady structured pool swim, volume of the session ability dependant.
Bike: long ride with plenty of climbing up to an epic view point, before an incredible coastal blast back.
Full ride 78km, 1190m climbing, with option of extending slightly - ability dependant.
Easier ride 53km, 850m climbing.
DAY 8
Departure

-7 nights accommodation at our partner hotel

-1 week of triathlon coaching and guidance on routes.
-Access to the best bike hire, road and electric roads bikes available. (Bike hire cost is not included but bike hire can be arranged if required prior to your arrival so your bike is ready and waiting for you to use at your hotel)

1x athlete - sharing* £925 GBP
Non training guests such as partners, children and friends are welcomed. Please email contact@hybridendurance.com for prices as this will be less than the athlete prices listed above.
*For those who are ok with sharing with others we will endeavour to put you in a sharing room, if the number of athletes don't allow this then you will have to pay the cost of the '1 x athlete - private room'.
For those sharing we can try to fit you in the same room as another named athlete or guest on request. Email contact@hybridendurance.com for any further enquiries.
Payment, cancellations and refunds.
A deposit of 35% of the total price is required to book and secure your place on the camp, the remaining 65% balance must be paid before 6 weeks out from the start date of the camp. If you don't pay the remaining balance in full before 6 weeks out you will loose your place on the camp and your 35% deposit.
If you cancel before 14 days after paying your deposit you will get a full refund of your deposit back. After 14 days of paying your deposit if you then decide to cancel before the start of the camp only those who have paid the total amount in full will receive any money back and that money will only be the deposit amount of 35% and not the remaining 65%. Those who have not paid the total amount in full and cancel after the 14 days of paying the deposit will not receive any money back.
The above terms apply to booking 6 weeks and more out from the camp. Any late booking less than 6 weeks out from the start date of the camp the full amount will be payable immediately to book your place on camp. You will still be entitled to a 35% refundable amount of the total price should you cancel before the camp date if you have paid the full amount.
Payment of the deposit is made by purchasing this camp above, select the date and room type and purchase through our store which securely processes your payment through Paypal. The remaining balance will then be payable by transfer either to our Paypal account or our bank account. Details of these will be provided after placing your deposit.
Travel insurance - You must obtain sufficient travel insurance to cover your travel and the all of the activities provided on this camp. This is a condition of booking that you purchase insurance and you will have to provide evidence of this before you can start the camp.
